Tenant layout changes

Customise your new flat

We aim to meet your expectations, which is why we welcome your suggestions regarding the layout of your Skanska flat right from the construction stage.

 

As part of changes to the tenant layout, you may:

  • change the layout or remove internal partition walls
  • adjust the position and width of internal doors
  • choose the location and increase the number of light fittings, switches and electrical/telecommunications sockets (telephone, internet, TV)
  • determine the positioning of utility connections and household appliances (electric hob, oven, fridge)
  • change the position of the radiators.

 

Please note that the following changes are not permitted:

  • modifications deemed significant under building regulations and requiring amendments to the planning permission
  • interference with the building’s structural elements
  • interference with vertical service shafts or risers
  • changes to the type, size or layout of windows
  • changes to the function or purpose of the flat
  • changing the function of individual rooms, e.g. moving the kitchen or bathroom
  • subdividing flats
  • changes requiring alterations to neighbouring units
  • removing the walls separating the living area from the kitchen (in studio flats).
