We took the name Holm House from the Swedish word holm, which means island. It was intended to be an architecturally unique island in the centre of Mokotów. With successive stages of the estate expanding with new buildings, we can already speak of an archipelago. However, each resident here retains their own private space. The estate is designed so that more private zones naturally form within it. As a whole, Holm House is a well-functioning, aesthetically pleasing and coherent residential complex in Warsaw.
Several renowned architectural and art studios were involved in the development of the Skanska Holm House estate. As a result, the Holm House project features bright, modern buildings with simple forms that have blended well into a part of the district known for its business character. At the same time, the common spaces have minimized architectural barriers: a small number of curbs and steps make it easy to move around the estate, while driveways, threshold-free elevators and lightweight doors ease access to the buildings. The visual appeal of this development is complemented by large wooden windows, high-quality, eco-friendly finishing materials and details by acclaimed designer Oskar Zięta – his lamps illuminating the entrance in the estate's first building have been dubbed "skylights."
Holm House is located between Domaniewska and Mariana Zdziechowskiego streets, close to Wierzbno and Wilanowska subway stations. Nearby is the shopping mall Galeria Mokotów and a large recreational area – Arkadia Park by the Królikarnia Palace. The excellent infrastructure of this part of Warsaw, the proximity of the business district, and the use of innovative solutions in the buildings make living here the best investment.
Holm House in Warsaw is a project ultimately comprising eight buildings and more than 800 apartments. Six of the seven buildings at 4-11 Zdziechowskiego Street already have residents. Today, more than 700 families live here. The final stage of the project is currently under construction.
