Osiedle Mickiewicza

Osiedle Mickiewicza very quickly gained residents' recognition and won many awards. Its bright and modern, simple and solid architecture has been carefully integrated into the preserved old trees. The arrangement of windows, loggias, and balconies, as well as the façade break lines obtained through modest architectural details, create interesting architectural features. The unconstrained arrangement of the buildings created an irregular grid of interpenetrating courtyards, unique thanks to the expanses of greenery and the hilly terrain.

Skanska's Mickiewicza estate comprises intimate, fully daylit buildings designed to be comfortable and accessible. There is also an unusual addition here: referring to the old idea of community centres, we have created a common meeting area and provided access to a resident's club. It is a human-centred project, with solutions that nod to the Scandinavian lifestyle and the quiet character of the neighbourhood.

 The estate consists of eight completed buildings, delivered in four stages.
