Typically, designing residential estates starts with a site plan, which is divided into quarters and buildings, and these are divided into apartments. We did the opposite. The priority was nice apartments with interesting and varied layouts so that they could be functionally and comfortably furnished. Some of them are two-story ones. Each has good access to daylight thanks to the proper location of the rooms in relation to cardinal directions and large windows. We assembled buildings from such apartments and integrated the buildings into the existing space, and this is how the estate was created.
Park Scandinavia owes its name to a style referring to the solutions used in residential construction by our northern neighbours. It is distinguished by the simplicity and solidity of architectural forms, the functionality of common spaces and responsibility and care for green surroundings. Thus, we have a universal, timeless architecture with a simple form and bright colours. There are also a lot of convenient solutions in common areas: strollers and bicycle rooms, an attested playground, minimized architectural barriers in passageways, low-noise elevators, and energy-efficient lighting. In the green areas for residents, we have carefully selected and planted diverse plant species. There are also birdhouses, insect houses and tables for playing checkers, chess, and ping-pong.
The asset of the residential estate in Gocław, which will surely be appreciated by future residents, is its convenient location – in the neighbourhood, there are grocery stores, the Atrium Promenada shopping centre, kindergartens, schools and numerous green and recreational areas, while well-developed public transportation provides quick access to the centre of Warsaw and the most important spots in the city. What's more, the subway’s third line station is planned in the area, which will further improve the connection with the rest of the capital.
