Social commitment

For over 130 years, by building homes, schools, offices and bridges in various countries, we have helped shape the direction of socially responsible business development. We are guided by principles that not only attract customers but also distinguish us in the market.

We design and complete residential estates, but our social responsibility doesn’t stop at the walls of the building. We also create friendly and green living spaces that serve not only our residents but entire local communities. Our aim is to ensure that our projects remain open to nature, people and the city. We strive to develop neighbourhoods that seamlessly blend into the urban fabric and are environmentally safe in the long term. To support this goal, we organise green lessons for children in schools located near our estates. We promote education that focuses on caring for our planet and raising environmental awareness among our residents.

Safe at Home

A home should be a place associated with rest, peace and safety. But even there, unexpected and not always safe situations can occur. That’s why our storybook characters – kind Mrs Jadzia, resourceful Tomasz Miarka and mischievous cat Leon – teach children the basics of home safety.

Between 2016 and 2019, we trained over 4,000 children in Warsaw’s primary schools on how to behave safely in various situations. We also gave them reflective bands, first-aid kits, emergency number magnets and colouring books. In 2020, we met children online for the first time with an audio story.

The ‘Safe at Home’ campaign won the ‘Best CSR Campaign’ award at the CIJ Awards 2017.

Bambini Litera: ‘Eco Cities of the Future’

Planting avocado, pumpkin, mango and apple seeds that turn into a lush mini-garden full of exotic plants and healthy food within days. Roadside solar boxes powering nearby homes. Cars turning exhaust into iodine… A fairy tale? For now, yes – but who knows what the future holds?

In a writing competition for children full of imagination who enjoy writing stories, fairy tales or poems, we selected the most colourful and surprising works, which were published in the book ‘Eco Cities of the Future’.

Volunteer Day

Once a year we organise a Volunteer Day. We select a school facility, work with them on a plan, and together with teachers and children improve selected areas. We plant greenery (nearly 300 plants in the past three years), renovate damaged street furniture and refresh playground surfaces.

We also encourage people to take similar initiatives in their daily lives.

  • 2020 | World Cleanup Day – Poland 2020, Drewnica Forest District
  • 2019 | Children’s Home No 2 named after Dr Janusz Korczak, ul. Jaktorowska 6
